I watched his last night and Matthew is always an enjoyable interview. He's so down to earth and normal. But just as the last time he was on Leno, MF's reaction to the second guest was almost more enjoyable than his actual time with Jay.
Jay's second guest last night was Bruno from that show where celebrities try to win a dance contest or whatever. Anyway, Bruno appeared more excited to talk to Matthew than to Jay because he was apparently a Lost fan since the pilot and he's a really hyper guy and immediately starts ranting, "That Kate is a slut!" to which Matthew kind of laughs and lets go of a hearty "Whew!" and the guy keeps on with "she's a slut, she goes from you, to the other guy, back to you" and Matthew says, "Yeah, she's" in an attempt to try to explain what is going on with Kate, but doesn't get a chance to finish because Bruno continues on with "You're a saint!" to which Matthew quickly replies "No, no" and is giggling at this point and finally just goes with it as the guy continues on with his hyper rant coated with a thick Italian accent.
The guy seemed more interested in talking to Matthew, who appeared to be trying hard to look interested in dance routines and who might win the contest, than to Jay and Jay finally said Will you stop fliring with him! Get a room! to which Bruno replied "He's a very handsome man".
Ah Foxy, the gay men love you as much the straight women do. : )
The other guest was Bruno Tonioli from DWTS and this is a transcript of the conversation when Bruno joined Jay and Foxy:
Jay: Do you know him? Do you know him?
Bruno: Well I feel like I know him. Since the first episode of Lost I've been glued to the screen. Glued to the set. But I gotta something to say, that Kate is a slut. I mean come on. I mean come on! She just puts it about. . First it's you. Then it's the other one, and then it's you again.
Foxy: Yeah, I know.
Bruno: You're a saint.
Foxy: She's………..
Bruno: (interrupts) You're a - He's a saint! He's a saint! (audience cheers)
Matthew Fox agreed that Kate is a slut? The woman his character Jack is supposed to be in love with? Not cool Foxy, not cool as far as another character on your show is concerned and not cool for the actress you work with. Kate slept with Sawyer on the Island and two to three years later Jack back in the real world and that equals her being categorized by these two men as a slut?
Foxy, didn’t your mama teach you better manner? Neither Kate or Evi deserve to be disrespected in such a crass fashion on network television.
I think he was agreeing that Kate goes back and forth not that she was a slut, but as usual where MF is concerned, much ado about nothing. I predicted there would gobs of ZOMG Foxy is the DEVIL comments over it as soon as I heard it and so far I haven't been disappointed. As I've said before, "JEALOUS" Sawyer fans and Skaters (not all of them just those with the jealous obsession) are completely transparent and predictable when it comes to Jack/MF and I'm so glad for them because I'd have nothing to laugh about most days if they didn't exist.
Now as for how that evil MF responded. Was he supposed to be a kill joy and vehemently protest a FICTIONAL character be referred to in such a derrogatory manner?
By the way, Evie has referred to Kate as a slut before and well, you know, she kind of is, not so much because of the sex with both men, but because of the way she behaves with them on that island. She uses them and goes back and forth between them depending on what her needs may be from one day to the next. If you want to be angry with someone for Kate coming off as a slut you should probably forward your hate mail to Damon and Carlton, she is after all, their creation.

Foxy agreed that she was going back and forth between 2 men and then he just wanted to explain and started with "she's..." but the other guy was talking about how jack was a saint so he couldnt finish what he was intended to say...
but ofcourse im not surprised to see that skaters are bashing MF for NOTHING again!

He meant 'yes she was with me then with the other one, then with me again'
Ad even if he said that Kate is the island's slut he would have quoted Evangeline, who said it many, many times.

First off, Kate is fictional. So is lost btw. ANYWHO, how adorable is FOXY??? and I love Bruno even more now-he is a hussie.
I watched (and taped) the MF interview, but stopped before Bruno came on (switched the channel), so I missed that part. From what was said here, it doesn't seem Bruno gave MF a chance to say much of anything. I don't think anything said about Kate's character really reflects on Evi as a person. Personally, I find her character not written very well and I imagine it is very hard for Evi to play her.
I thought it interesting that Matthew speaks Italian. Josh Holloway speaks Italian too (He lived in Italy 2 years when he was modeling.) I wonder if they ever practice with each other. Well probably not, if they speak different dialects.
Anyway I enjoyed the interview as always.

Josh and Matt speak the same Italian when/if they speak Italian because there's only one language spoken and written that people speak and understand all over the country.
It also true that we have an incredible number of dialects, that are sometimes languages on their own, and Venetian dialect is one of the toughest - I have difficulties myself understand some dialects!
Our grandparents used to speak dialects as well as 'standard' Italian and in some regions also young people get to learn their dialects nowadays, it depends on their family/friends habits, etc.
But Italian is one and only and it's the one you learn at school and hear on television and read on newspapers.

I saw Speed twice and loved it!!! Racer X is amazing! His voice ualllllllllll! His body! His misterious!!! I loved MF interaction with ohters actors! A great movie! I recomended!
@elisabetta - Thanks for letting me know all that. I just thought it was really cool that they both know Italian. I wish I spoke a second language. As my ninth grade Spanish teacher once said, "If you have to translate in your head and can't learn to think in a language, you'll never be any good." Well I always have to translate in my head. I guess that's why I admire people that speak more than one language like Matthew, Josh and now you.

Now not anymore, I only use English at work and....here :D
