Ex-Lost meanie Grant Bowler -- he played the swarthy freighter captain who was shot and killed in last May's finale -- is dropping anchor at Ugly Betty.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that the Aussie actor has been cast in the heavily recurring role of Mode's head of business affairs. "He's running the business part of the magazine," explains Betty exec producer Silvio Horta. "He's hot and cool and all the women are in love with him."
Rumor has it one of those women (Wilhelmina, perhaps?) may have previously raised his mast.
