Submit Questions to JJ Abrams for Star Trek Twitter Premiere

On Tuesday April 7th the new Star Trek movie will have its global gala premiere at the world-famous Opera House in Sydney, Australia. The event will be attended by director JJ Abrams and many of his stars, and Paramount International is offering fans (and specifically TrekMovie community members) the opportunity to ask questions of the Trek celebrities. Details below.

Your question can be asked at the Star Trek World Premiere

As reported earlier, Paramount International will be conducting a ‘liveblogging’ broadcast for fans from the Sydney event, plus making clips available from the earlier press event. JJ Abrams, Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine, Eric Bana and Karl Urban will all be asked fan-submitted questions, with the answers put up on the internet (and seen here at TrekMovie.com). Fans can submit questions via Twitter by just using the hashtag #asktrek (they will be searching for all tweets with that tag and selecting questions to ask at the event).

In addition to the Twitter submissions, a set of questions for the Star Trek celebrities will come from TrekMovie community members. To submit a question, just type it into the comments section below. Note who the question is for (JJ Abrams, Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine, Eric Bana or Karl Urban) and keep questions to 25 words or less. Also note your first name and home town….like so:

Questions must be submitted by noon Pacific Time Monday. Please do not submit more than three total question suggestions. TrekMovie and PPC will select final question (All attempts will be made to get all selected questions answered, time permitting).

The red carpet opens around 6:00 PM Tuesday Sydney Time (9:00 AM GMT, 4:00 AM East Coast USA, and 1:00 AM Pacific Time).
