PARIS -- The 48th annual Monte Carlo Television Festival will see a strong lineup of U.S. talent heading to Monaco for the June 8-12 event, organizers said Tuesday. A total of 113 programs from 24 countries will be in competition, including U.S. series "The Sopranos," "Heroes" and "Lost" in the drama category, and "30 Rock," "The Office" and "Entourage" in the comedy category.

Those expected to be on hand include "Lost" stars Jorge Garcia and Naveen Andrews, "Damages" star Tate Donovan, "CSI's" George Eads, and cast members from "Bones," "Desperate Housewives," "Ugly Betty," "CSI: Miami," "Cashmere Mafia" and "Pushing Daisies," among others.

Producer Dick Wolf will receive an honorary Golden Nymph award for his contributions to the entertainment industry. The fest's Golden Nymph Award ceremony for competition titles will take place June 12.

"We are thrilled with the support from the American studios and networks generating such a great U.S. talent turnout," festival CEO David Tomatis said.
