LOST Media Mentions - DarkUFO

Thanks to DarkUFO reader up2u for the following/

The May 2009 edition of Wired Magazine has the usual credits but one name you won't see is that of LOST creator J.J. Abrams. Although he is credited as a guest editor on the video podcast, the print edition has only a JJA graphic incorporated into the credits on page 6 (the same graphic appears on the cover). No doubt a reference to Abrams, there's another graphic in this issue LOST fans will find much more compelling.

On pages 104-105, is a puzzle related to the numbers on LOST. It shows Hurley's lottery ticket followed by a series of 52 numbers. Only LOST fans will know the origins of this puzzle. And that's what it is, a puzzle. In the video podcast, Scott Dadich, Wired's creative director narrates a graphic of this puzzle by saying, "...there are puzzles that are really obvious and others that are less obvious".

To Wired readers that don't recognize Hurley's lottery ticket the meaning of this puzzle will be, well, lost. A possible key is on the cover. The phrase "crack the code" appears in mirror view next to the date (which appears normally).

I've tried several decipher keys but have been unable to crack it - yet. Give it a try and post your ideas, maybe together we can unlock one of the mysteries of LOST.
