Josh Holloway Going From Lost to Avengers Movie Universe?

With Lost in the rear-view mirror, its core cast is cleared to move on to potentially bigger and better things. Sawyer himself, Josh Holloway, is rumored to be wasting no time in doing so.
Per Avenger News, Holloway is currently in discussions (or is that negotiations?) to play a lead character in an upcoming Marvel film. They don't name a source so take this one with the appropriate grain of salt.

Let's suppose for a moment Holloway does sign on. Who could be play? Some of the roles Marvel is supposedly looking to fill include Henry Pym aka Ant-Man and Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. Ant-Man fits in with the rumor as he is tentatively scheduled to receive his own standalone film and getting Holloway lined up early would open the door for the character to appear in 2012's The Avengers.

I'd love to see Holloway show up in Marvel's movie universe. The man has proven time and time again on Lost that he can act angry, hurt and funny seemingly without effort. If Marvel needs big personalities to stand toe-to-toe with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans, then Holloway should be more than up to the challenge.
